According to the article, there is a difference between race and ethnicity. Sociologists who are studying human behaviour, origins, and the development of human society explain race is based on physical differences among people resulting from inherited biological traits; however, ethnic groups are based on cultural factors such as national origin, religion, language, norms, and values. In some coutures such as the U.S. people are recognized by race and ethnicity and classified as minority group.
